What happens when the partying is all said and done and there’s nothing left?
Its easy to drown dismally into the drugs, alcohol and night life. To lose yourself to the music and atmosphere. Surrounded by equally lost and fucked up souls searching. Searching for direction, adrenaline, love, answers. Basically just searching for anything and everything to numb the harsh sense of reality just looming beyond that thinly veiled barrier. Forever threatening to raise its ghastly head. There’s only so long however before it succumbs your being and ultimately smacks you straight in the face. Initially you look back on that mode of self destruction in disappointment and disgust. How could you put yourself through such torture. Then you look back in awe as to how you survived and managed to force yourself through it day after day, night after night. Finally you look back and wish it was still in occurrence, or do you?
…I don’t know.

I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.

No one likes going to work. It’s a grueling and repulsive fact of life.

It’s incredible how someone you’ve known for a significant amount of time, can one day, somehow become so important, so consuming, so much of your life. It’s like your eyes only just arrived in your body or your brain only recently kicked into gear, or from want of not sounding repulsively “mushy” (everything I hate) that your heart only just decided to start beating. It’s intriguing to understand just how the mind, body and soul let for so long this significant other exist in your life with decent yet now comparatively in hindsight such scarce meaning for what was a vast amount of time. How you managed to keep your hands, eyes and lips of them. How you survived a whole day without their contact, constant communication and what seems to be addictive presence. It’s just completely and utterly mind boggling to me.
